Nothing can harm a building as much as water penetrating. In order to prevent this, not only the building materials used must be waterproof, but also the connecting means are part of a well thought-out seal. The Spax plumbing screw is used where plastic roof panels, sheets or connection profiles must be permanently tightly attached. For this purpose, our plumbing screw is made of stainless steel and comes with an attached washer with a sealing rubber made of EPDM. The latter prevents water from entering the construction through the drill hole in the roof skin. Unlike other products, our sealing disc is one-piece and has a diameter of 20 mm. This not only benefits the sealing itself, but also the pressure distribution on the often sensitive plastic and metal surfaces. Screw and sealing disc are made of stainless steel A2 and can withstand direct weather without any problems. In addition to the larger sealing disc, it is above all our typical Spax features that make our Spax plumbing screw so special: These include the force attack T-Star plus and the 4CUT tip, which offer unique processing advantages.
