Acoplastic A/S launches another new PTFE “recycled material”: Acoflon® 100 GC Blue

Acoplastic A/S produces customized machined solutions in a wide range of plastic materials. We are specialists in PTFE, and have our own production of PTFE tubes, rods and billets together with associated compliance documentation.

Acoplastic A/S has more than 250 different PTFE recipes, and we are proud to be able to launch another variant to our portfolio of recipes based on recycled material: 

 

Acoflon® 100 GC Blue

The recycled material only differs marginally from our corresponding virgin material:

Acoplastic A/S already has the following portfolio of “recycled materials” with fillers:

Acoflon® 105BX PTFE with 25% glass fiber
Acoflon® 215BX PTFE med 25% carbon
Acoflon® 710BX PTFE med 50% stainless steel.

These material types are today already used by several of our customers and are a part of our efforts to reduce our waste streams.
