Introducing: Our new Hyundai WIA SD 2200 SY CNC machine

This week another new CNC lathe arrived at Acoplastic.

Acoplastic have invested in a new Hyundai WIA SD 2200 SY CNC machine. The Hyundai WIA SD 2200 SY is a CNC lathe which is designed to maximise production and performance. Some of the key features are:

– High turning force
– Fast and precise turning
– Fast cycles
– Best in the fast-forward-and-reverse-movement class
– Precise control of spindles and axes
– Ergonomic design to gain easy access to spindles and tools
– Possibility of fully automatic work (prepared with a robot interface)

We expect to transfer production tasks to the new lathe step by step over summer and will be fully implemented before autumn.
