Acoplastic continues to develop our technology platform

Acoplastic is again investing in new machinery to continuously be on the forefront of increasing demands from our valuable customers.

In January 2023 Acoplastic received our first Okuma Multus B250 II. Acoplastic can hereby expand our machine park with a 5-axis (100% simultaneous) CNC machine with sub-spindle.

The Okuma MULTUS B250 II are a general-purpose multi-function CNC lathes that are designed to reduce set-up time by virtually eliminating repetitive fixturing to improve accuracy and keep non-cutting time to a minimum. It features the industry’s first Collision Avoidance System software. Combined with Okuma’s OSP control, this software can run the entire machining simulation and catch potential collisions before they create scrap. Thermal-friendly construction assures high accuracy, even in the most complex applications. We ordered a version with sub-spindle, designed to handle the part from one spindle to the other to complete milling and turning operations without changing the part/machine. The machine is also born with a robot interface.

The new investment will help us to make even more complex parts and sharpen our competitive offering.
