Acoplastic makes a wide range of applications with high requirements on surface roughness. We therefore make many articles for antiseptic applications.

One example is diaphragms for valves. Acoplastic has many years of experience in manufacturing solutions for diaphragms valves.

Our customer is a world leader within life science. They offer one of the broadest portfolios in the industry for scientists, best-in-class products for pharmaceutical development and manufacturing.

They have more than 27,000 employees worldwide and are working to redefine the industry as we know it because they believe science offers unlimited possibilities.

THE CHALLENGE

Our customers have a full range of valves that deliver reliable and proven antiseptic performance, no matter how demanding the process or application. Their valves comply with rigorous Clean-in-place (CIP) and Steam-in-place (SIP) requirements. To do this the surface of all components in the contact of the media must have a surface roughness at max Ra 0,8 µm.
The challenge is to find a reliable supplier who can meet these demands in a costeffective manner and has the capacity to meet the demand.

Key challenge to find a supplier that can make PTFE diaphragm for the Antiseptic valves, meeting the functional and surface roughness demands of max. Ra 0,8 µm and that has the capacity to supply the desired demands.
